Turkey's Erdogan will meet with Hamas to release its hostages

The President of Turkey, Tayyip Erdogan announced that his country will enter into negotiations to see that the Hamas group releases those it has captured in Israel and is holding them hostage.

After the attack by Hamas in Israel last weekend, President Erdogan launched a diplomatic program to intervene in the emerging crisis.

Erdogan also talked to the leaders of the Arab countries on the phone this week to submit his country's offer to intervene in the conflict that started on Saturday between Israel and Palestine.

On Wednesday, he met with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman and the president of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Turkish politicians, including President Erdogan, met with members of the Hamas group earlier regarding this matter.

There is no official statement from the Turkish government regarding its meeting with Hamas.
