 Israel agreed to deliver the goods to Gaza but through Egypt

Israel said that it will not prevent the delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip, but it must go through Egypt, which is a neighbor of the strip.

A statement from the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that only food, water and medicine will be allowed to enter.

"We will not prevent the entry of aid from Egypt as long as it is food, water and medicine to civilians in southern Gaza," the statement said.

She added that "we will not allow aid to enter our part of the country until our hostages are released".

A long line of trucks carrying aid has been stuck at the Rafah border crossing in Egypt for over a week as Israel blocks their entry.
