Ifeanyi, Davido's son, was found to have drowned, according to the autopsy results.

Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland, was found dead on Saturday, and an autopsy performed on his body confirmed that he died of drowning, according to the Lagos State Police Command. Davido was the father of Ifeanyi Adeleke.

During a conversation with one of our reporters, Benjamin Hundeyin, who is in charge of public relations for the state Police, corroborated the new information.

According to what Hundeyin had to say, the autopsy was finished. It is evidence that the boy (Ifeanyi) passed away from drowning.

The PUNCH had reported that there were signs that the police could conduct an autopsy to ascertain whether or not Ifeanyi died as a consequence of drowning in a swimming pool at his father's property in the Banana Island area of Lagos State. Ifeanyi's death was being investigated as possibly being the result of drowning in a pool at his father's residence.

An unimpeachable source, who confirmed the development, stated that it was common practice for the police to do an autopsy in such a case, adding that the police would withdraw from the step if the departed family members were against it. The source also stated that the police conducted an autopsy in such a case to confirm the development.

According to a source, "We will conduct an autopsy just like we would in any other death," even if the family hasn't spoken up yet because they're still in shock. "It's standard procedure to perform an autopsy until someone tells us to stop."

The source continued, "Of the eight domestic workers that the police questioned in relation to Ifeanyi's death, the cook and the nanny, The three-year-old boy's caretaker, whose responsibility it was to ensure that he was safe and healthy, had been held because she had not done her duty, had been detained." In other words, the source claimed that the cook and the nanny were fired as a result of their failure to respect their parental responsibilities.
