In Zamfara State, people with guns killed the Attorney General and NNPP Party candidate.
Even though the Zamfara State Police Force hasn't heard about it yet, a lawyer close to the case told Channels Television that the man had been killed.
He said his name was Aminu Lawal Bungudu. He said that robbers broke into his house early on Wednesday morning, beat him up, and then took him to a place he didn't know.
Abubakar said, "The thieves broke into the house and saw his wife trying to get better. They attacked her, and when she screamed for help, the husband came out."
Robbers attacked and took away the husband. On the way, they killed him and left him. took him home or killed him on the way. But his dead body was on the road."
Junaidu Abubakar, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Zamfara State Branch, confirmed the attack to Channels Television over the phone. He said that the attack was wrong.
He said, "Let me assure you that it's true. He was attacked in his house, but the attackers didn't take anything from it. They just picked him up and cut him up with a machete a lot."
Yazid Abubakar, a spokesman for the state police, told Channels Television that he had not yet been told about the attack and that he would report on it as soon as he did.
Before he died, Barrister Ahmad Muhammad was the welfare secretary for the Gusau branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.
During this year's general election, he was also the candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the Bungudu West Constituency of the Zamfara State House of Assembly.
As long as no one forgets, some unknown shooters killed a lawyer named Benedict Torngee Azza in Zamfara state's Gusau town in August 2022.
