Tinubu's daughter has added "First daughter of FRN" to her Twitter bio.
Folasade Tinubu-Ojo is the Iyaloja-general of Lagos State. She has changed her Twitter status to say that she is the "first daughter of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN)."
This happened after her father, President Bola Tinubu, took office on Monday.
Tinubu-Ojo has more than 21,000 people following him on the popular Twitter site right now.
"This is the Official Handle of the Iyaloja General of Nigeria," it says in her Twitter bio. The FRN's First Daughter."
Also, Tinubu-Ojo said in a number of tweets that she had started a project to help her dad's government.
"Friends of Iyaloja Initiative (FoI) was announced today. I can say again with confidence that this government will take care of our youth, women, and the weak. I will fight for this cause, and I believe that God Almighty will give us success like we've never seen before.
"I've decided to help my dad's administration with what little experience, connections, and human resources I have."FoI will be focused on: giving young people and women more power. Giving people with special needs more power. Empowering the weak and a number of other programs are meant to improve the lives of Nigerians, especially those in the countryside.We will work with other well-known NGOs that have done great work in the key areas in the past. We will also try to work with a number of government agencies, ministries, and parastatals that were set up to help Nigerians in areas related to our operating cycle.
"I'm not afraid to say again that this government will take care of our youth, women, and the weak. I will fight for this cause, and I believe that God Almighty will make sure that our efforts are rewarded with success like we've never seen before," she wrote.
People are still talking about how she changed her Twitter bio, with some saying that there is a plan behind the change.
David Hundeyin, a well-known tweep, wrote, "Iyaloja General of Nigeria. These people really don't want to do anything more than make sure that every Nigerian gets a pass every day. Buhari was even more sneaky."
David Onyemaizu, another Twitter user, said, "Iyaloja General of Nigeria/First Daughter of the FRN? Your father has only been in charge for two days, and you already think it's a kingdom or a family business? Well, she can put any names she wants on her bio, so she doesn't have to. Only becomes a problem if."
