Kano State Government Pays 55,000 Students NECO Examination Fee

The Kano state government wants to improve the education system in the state, so the governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, has decided to pay the NECO exam fee for 55,000 public school students so they can take the SSCE in 2023.

Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the governor of the state, said this when he was talking to the media about what his government had done well in the first 20 days of his term.

Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf told the students who got the soap to work hard so that the soap would be worth its price.

The Governor said, "As a government that cares about the state, we must make sure you can keep studying without any problems. Because of this, we agreed right away to pay for the secondary school leaving examination (NECO) for 55,000 public school students across the state.

"You should try to be brave and come up with good results so that you can please the state and your fellow citizens," said the Governor.

He also promised the people of Kano that his government would keep working on plans and policies to improve education since education is the key to any country's growth.
