In Zaria, an attack killed a Hardo man and his four children.

Last Saturday night, some robbers broke into the home of Alhaji Shuaibu Mohammed in Ardon Birni, which is near Zaria in Daurayi village in Kaduna State. They killed him and his four children.

Mallama Halima Shu'aibu, the dead man's wife, told the media that five attackers with dangerous weapons broke into their house at around 10:00 pm and went straight to Ardo's room, where they killed him right away.

His wife says that they then found out about his four children, who were all married to her, and killed them all.

The woman said that four of their children, Adamu Shuaibu, Musa Shuaibu, Abubakar Shuaibu, and Haruna Ibrahim, died in this attack.

Halima said that after they killed them, they drove away about 100 of their cows during the night.

One of Ardon's other boys, Abdurrahman Shuaibu, also talked to the media. He said that after the attackers finished their house, they shot two people who were leaving the village.

When the reporters called, Mohammed Jalige, a spokesman for the Kaduna State Police, said he would talk to the Zaria Chief of Police to find out what happened.
